Remembering the Historic Anderson-Rosenwald School

This quilting project connects the history of the historic two-room Mars Hill Anderson Rosenwald School and the artistic tradition of quilting.  Formed around storytelling and led by Teaching Artist Jenny Pickens, this collection became a lens to engage girls  in learning and honoring the stories of the school’s alumni and former teachers.
